Maintenance

Dear all,
we are happy to announce that we updated the Sen2Cube.at system successfully to a new version! It is working as expected and the system can be used again.
The changes and new features include:
- It is possible to search for a specific location using the magnifying glass icon on the top right. This is useful if you are not familiar with a region and only know the name of a geographic feature!
- Reducing using standard deviation and variance is possible now. This feature can be used to identify areas that have seen bigger changes or that are rather stable over time or space.
- If the results (such as maps) are large, you will get a warning that downloading and visualisation may take some seconds.
- A model that reduces over space and time at the same time has only a single, scalar value as output and this will be directly visualised in the frontend.
- We did several improvements to the overall stability of the system, which includes a more reliable execution of inferences and internal pre-processing pipelines.
- Several bugs have been resolved regarding the selection of the dates for the start and the end of intervals, the readability of factbase status, uploading GeoJSON files with point geometries, and the comment options for the inferences, ....
Thank you for your patience! We wish you happy Sen2Cub-ing ... and, as always, please let us know if you encounter any bugs or experience something unexpected.

Dear all!
we're planning an update of the Sen2Cube.at system on Thursday, 01.04.2021 in the evening (approx 18:00). The Sen2Cube.at system will therefore not be accessible during this time but should be working again on Friday. The update includes mostly bug-fixes but also some new features. We will publish a detailed list with the changes after the update.

Dear all,
due to a scheduled maintenance of the cloud infrastructure, the Sen2Cube.at system will not be available and will be offline on Wednesday 05.05.2021 morning (until noon). We will post an update again as soon as it is available again.
Best regards,
The Sen2Cube.at Team -
Dear all,
the Sen2Cube.at system is working as expected and can be accessed again.

Dear all,
we released a new update of the version today. The changes include:
- The settings of an inference can be easily cloned to create a new inference. We added this feature because sometimes you don't want to repeat the same inference, but change only a few settings. With this button you can copy the settings of an existing inference into a new one:
- There is now a better indication when an inference was in the preview-mode
- It is possible to get more information about the factbases, in particular the full description and the contents. This can be accessed by clicking on the (info) button (i) in the factbase list
- It is possible to document the model better and get more information about the categories that are available by clicking on the "metadata" button in the model editor
- It is now possible to bookmark models and inferences. A bookmarked model or inference will be shown first in the lists
-
The size of the model editor was increased
-
The visualisation of map layers was improved, which makes the rendering faster and quicker
-
Several bug fixes for: switching map results on/off, colour ramp, visualization of tables, and preview settings
Happy Sen2Cub-ing

Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
we plan an update and maintenance of the Sen2Cube.at system on Friday, 18th of June. During this day the system will not be accessible. Please let us know if this date is inconvenient for you.
We will make an announcement as soon as the system can be used again.
Best regards,

Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
the update was successful and everything is working again. The update includes the following changes
- New notification system with better messages and error-messages, which are documented here: https://manual.sen2cube.at/error-codes.html
- Deleting a model that has been used in inferences results in a better error message in which in inferences are listed
- Debugging of visualisation
- Multiple SCBIR-results in one inference are now possible
- More basemaps
- Some settings are now available on the user level. They can be accessed in the menu under the "Settings" label
Happy Sen2Cub-ing

Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
we have to do a required maintenance of the Sen2Cube.at system on Friday, 2nd of July, from 17:00 to 18:00. This time it is just for a short time but nevertheless the system will not be accessible. Please let us know if this time is inconvenient for you.
We will make an announcement as soon as the system can be used again.
Best regards,
The Sen2Cube.at team -
Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
the maintenance is completed and the Sen2Cube.at system is working again.
Happy Sen2Cub-ing

Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
due to a larger processing campaign on Sen2Cube.at within the next weeks there may be some interruptions and slower responses to queries. We hope it will not be too inconvenient, please write here or to info@sen2cube.at if you have any questions.
All the best,
The Sen2Cube.at team -
Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
we completed our processing campaign successfully, and there should be no interruptions anymore.
All the best,

Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
we will conduct some maintenance work on Thursday, September 16, during which there may be several interruptions. We will notify you once the maintenance is completed.
Best regards,
The Sen2Cube.at Team -
Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
the maintenance work is finished and Sen2Cube.at is working again, thank you for your patience.
If you encounter any problems, please let us know.
All the best,
The Sen2Cube.at Team -
Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
we want to inform you that there may be some interruptions and inaccessibility of the following data cubes / factbases from now until (potentially) early next week:
-
SemantiX
-
Syria
-
Afghanistan
This may include a (temporary) loss of inference outputs of the last days - in such a case (if the inference output does not load anymore), simply re-run your inference by clicking on the "rerun" button. The inferences themselves and the settings/parameters will not be affected, only already calculated outputs.
All the best,
The Sen2Cube.at Team -

Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
all data cubes / factbases are working again. No data were lost and there is no action required from your side.
If you still encounter any problems, please let us know.
All the best,
The Sen2Cube.at Team -
Dear all,
unfortunately, we have since today in the morning some technical/cloud infrastructure problems, which can lead to some interruptions. We hope these problems can be solved until tomorrow.
Thank you for your patience,
The Sen2Cube.at team -
Dear Sen2Cube.at users,
we are planning a major update with a lot of new features at the end of the year and the system will not be operational from December 23rd onwards - likely until beginning/mid of January. We will let you know when the maintenance work is finished.
Please get in contact with us in case this is an inconvenient time for you!
Further, be advised that there is also a change in the semantic querying language, which means that your models need to be adjusted. You will be able to see the old semantic models but not able to execute them. The model structure and most of the blocks will remain the same but in any case we can help you with the translation into the new models.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have are any questions.
